Jeff began playing lacrosse in 2nd grade in the Howard County Rec program. During middle school he played on Cobra - Howard County’s travel team. He went on to play lacrosse and basketball at Loyola Blakefield High School. After high school, he continued to play lacrosse at Villanova University. Jeff continues to hold Villanova’s single game assist record (9 assists vs. University of Denver). During his senior year, he served as a team captain and was voted the team’s MVP.
Jeff and his wife Katie have three children. He has been active in coaching his kids’ basketball and lacrosse teams. His passion for coaching comes from the belief that athletics provide an excellent opportunity for kids to learn life lessons (e.g. benefits of hard work, teamwork, coping with success and failure…) in a healthy and fun environment.
