Heros Lacrosse

 

 

Kayla Renehan- was a Defensive player for UMBC.  During her time at UMBC,Kayla earned America East All-Conference First Team honors, was ranked second at UMBC for the number of caused turn overs in a single season, and also was ranked first among defenders in the America East Conference in caused turnovers per game (1.71). In her career at UMBC she picked up a total of 79 ground balls and caused 64 turnovers. She received the most improved player her Freshmen year and also earned ECAC Spring Academic Honor Roll honors.

 

Kayla earned a degree in Psychology and is looking to pursue a career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Throughout college Kayla worked as a strength and conditioning coach for Resultz Sports Performance Training and specialized in speed and agility. 

 

Kayla was a 3 year varsity starter for Glenelg High School girls lacrosse team and she earned a first team all county honor. She also was a member of the Hero’s 2015 team.
