Heros Lacrosse

Kristen is a Howard County native and Centennial High School graduate, where she was inducted into the Centennial High School Hall of Fame for her accolades and accomplishments in both lacrosse and soccer. As a sophomore lacrosse player, Jones was the County’s second leading point leader, led the team in both ground balls and interceptions, and was named to the All County and All Academic teams for three years.  As a junior, Jones was the County’s highest scorer with 88 goals and 28 assists, and second leader in the Baltimore Metro region. She was also named to the County and Metro area’s First Teams. As a senior, Jones was named the Howard County Player of the Year for the Howard County Times, Columbia Flier and Baltimore Sun, and scored a game record in goals with 11. 
 
Jones lettered as a varsity soccer player all four years when CHS was state champions and ranked 11th in the country with an 18-0 season. She was named All County team both her junior and senior year.  
 
Kristen received a scholarship to play lacrosse at James Madison University and was a midfield starter for the first-ever JMU NCAA Final Four team in 2000.  She earned CAA All Conference Team, VA All State Team, Brine/IWLCA South Region Team her junior and senior years, and was the second highest scorer as a senior, and led the team with game winning goals.  Kristen is a business owner, and freelance publicist, mom of three children, Finley a member of the 2028 Green team, Sawyer, a member of the 2031 Green team, and her son Holden. She is married to her high school sweetheart and CHS graduate, Eric Jones.
