At Towson, Maddie was part of the 2016 CAA Championship team and contributed to three NCAA Tournament appearances. A four-year team contributor and two-year starter, she also excelled academically, earning a spot on the 2017 CAA All-Academic Team and recognition as a 2019 IWLCA Academic All-American. She graduated cum laude with dual degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology.

In 2021, Maddie became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and in 2023, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She was inducted into the national physical therapy honor society in recognition of her academic and clinical excellence.
